Creating sauna culture through health and wellness.

Why sauna?

Saunas are THOUSANDS of years old (some experts suggest that the first Scandinavian sauna may have been up to 9,000 years old!). During this time period, the benefits surely were FELT, but now they are being studied!

Aromatherapy

The use of essential oils for aromatherapy has become widespread, being used for homeopathic remedies like reducing pain, soothing sore muscles, preventing depression, reducing stress, and promoting better sleep.

Spending time in a wood-fired sauna is relaxing on its own, but you can enhance the experience even further by incorporating essential oils. It is important to note that essential oils are very strong so you should avoid too much exposure directly on the body, and should never be exposed to the eyes directly. We have hand-picked our favorite mixtures of oils from Clarity Apothecary, a local Tofino company, to bring you a scent for every occasion in the sauna! Simply sprinkle some of the oils into the ladle full of water, sprinkle on the rocks for extra steam, and enjoy the delightful benefits.
